About Us

Who Are We?

‘Hear for You’ are a registered charity providing support for anyone contemplating suicide, and those who have been affected by suicide. We are supported by ‘Go For It’ - Funding Change in Church & Community.

Registered Charity Number: SC044037

We provide local or home support, offering a face to face counselling service that allows people who are feeling or have had thoughts about suicide, and those affected by suicide to talk to a qualified counsellor.

The ripple effect after a suicide touches so many people, from spouses, partners, parents, children, colleagues, friends, neighbours plus many more, This service will allow people to talk about their feelings. A space to explore their loss, their questions, and their pain with someone experienced and qualified.

Suicide recognises no age, social, ethnic or cultural boundaries - neither do we. Our support is available to any individual. Hear for You exists to meet the needs and break the isolation of those thinking about suicide and for those bereaved by the suicide of a close relative or friend.
